When you mix India’s rich cultural heritage with equal parts of MICAn magic, you get the cultural committee at MICA. They ensure that every festival is celebrated with unbridled enthusiasm and joy. This not only keeps every student connected with their culture but also brings to light a treasure trove of hidden talents. This talent is showcased in the committee’s flagship event – Oorja. Overall, this committee is responsible on spreading smiles on the campus, which they do extremely successfully.
Lightening it up at number 10, Jagriti.

Jagriti, the Social Service Wing of MICA, now also the Societal Marketing club of MICA, began as a teaching initiative by the final year students of 2010. They started teaching the workers at MICA canteen and the mess. Gradually they expanded their scope of work and by year-end; they made significant contributions to the society through several initiatives. Jagriti aims to address the various social issues by involving the entire MICAN community along with the external stakeholders with an intention of bringing about a desirable change and difference.
Singing in their way at number 11, Studio7.

Studio7 is the music society at MICA, is the custodian of musical expression on campus. They believe that music transcends boundaries and engulfs the listener with clarity so profound, that they find a deeper meaning to our existence. Studio7 strives towards providing MICANS with the opportunity to drown themselves in various musical influences that enrich their experiences at MICA. Music was born out of the sheer need to connect with nature and contribute to its sounds. Drawing insights from this fact, Studio7 encourages individuals to explore cultural and societal aspects of life through a musical lens.
Placing themselves carefully at the final position is PlaceComm.
With arguably the most important task a committee can have on campus, the Placecomm is responsible for the placement of the students. Its tasks involve getting companies on campus for competition launches and hiring processes. It boasts of a stellar record of 100% placements, which is very commendable and talks a lot about their performance at large. The roles that are offered to MICAns are in the FMCG & FMCD, IT/ITes and E-commerce, Media and Entertainment, Advertising and PR, Analytics, Research and Consulting, Retail and Real Estate and Other (BFSI, pharma etc) sectors. The companies that offer roles in the above mentioned sectors include heavyweights like Amul, Citi, Amazon, EY, Deloitte, EA, IBM, Flipkart, Bajaj Auto, Sony Pictures Network and Google.
